Chicken Broth: The Power of Healing Food as Medicine!
This is my number one recipe that I’d recommend everyone that wants to be healthy and stay healthy!
This recipe is a good example of the healing power of food.
This way of cooking is not a new trend. Our ancestors already knew how to cook bones and ligaments of animal parts. They would cook it for days to release compounds, vitamins, and minerals like gelatin, collagen, calcium, magnesium.
And guess what? It takes 15 minutes to prepare. And you have it ready in the fridge any time you want to eat. In the wintertime, it’s a comforting meal. Add some chicken meat or whatever makes you happy, and you have a delicious dinner!
Benefits of chicken broth:
Restores gut health and promotes digestion
The gelatin in chicken broth heals the layer in the gut, re-sealing it and restoring gut health. It prevents intestinal permeability or” leaky gut”. It also improves digestion.
Anti -Inflammatory
The amino acid GLYCINE enhances anti-inflammatory capacity.
Beauty food for hair, nails, and skin
The collagen content helps to build skin and muscle tissue. Collagen is essential for keeping healthy and fresh-looking skin.
Improves bone growth and repair
As you slow cook, you extract the key ingredients, the bone-building minerals-Calcium, magnesium, and phosphor.
Reduces joint pain and inflammation.
Chicken broth contains glucosamine, called “ gold liquid”. Glucosamine is commonly given as a supplement to cure joint pain and inflammation.
