My journey

If you’re here, there’s a good chance that you know how overwhelming it can feel to take control of your health. I know, because I’ve been there.

When I mysteriously developed serious allergic reactions to food and my environment in my early 40s, it felt like my body was breaking down. As I battled crippling flare ups, my health robbed me of the things I loved most. I could no longer work, or enjoy the activities I once performed with ease. Not being able to fully work due to my health and other circumstances beyond my control took away my purpose and left me feeling hopeless. It was the most devastating period of my life.

After years of doctors visits and undergoing what felt like an endless series of medical tests and alternative therapies, nothing worked. Determined to find my purpose and passion again, I decided to work with a naturopathic doctor to see if changing my diet would have any results. I grew up with a father who was a pioneer in producing and sourcing organic food and suspected that this would be the key to improving my own health.

Once I eliminated wheat, gluten, and dairy my symptoms instantly cleared up. A mostly plant-based diet gave me my life back and the energy I needed to thrive. I learned to eat food in alignment with the person I really am.

The power of food as medicine changed my life and I wanted to learn more. After spending 20 years as a plant scientist for the agriculture industry, I decided to further my knowledge in the healing properties of mostly plant-based nutrition. I received my certification to become a health coach so that I could help people in similar situations.

After studying with world-renowned teachers and attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, I have implemented simple yet effective changes in my diet and lifestyle that have healed my health issues for good. I’m passionate about sharing this wisdom to help women in similar situations nourish their body, mind and soul to success.

I used to grow plants, and now, I teach women how to eat them. I want to help and inspire women like you to make health and happiness a priority. By unlocking the power of plant medicine, you’ll create habits that lead you to looking and feeling your best.

Food changes everything!

You’re precious. Take care of yourself accordingly.

My Food Philosophy ▸

My food philosophy

“One person’s food is another person’s poison”

The restrictive nature of diets usually gets results in the short term but it isn’t long before symptoms return. By creating a lifestyle that puts your health first, you can make long-term changes to strengthen your immune system by deeply nourishing the body with simple, carefully sourced, alive and in season plant-based foods. More importantly, I believe we all have the power to use our intuition to decide what food is best for our bodies. By understanding which foods don’t work for you and the ones that make you thrive, you can begin to develop a new relationship with food.

When you eat in alignment with you body’s needs, magic happens!

Michael Pollan said it best: “eat real food, mostly plants, and not too much”.
